After the HarvestNovember 11, 2005I drive by this cornfield every day on my way to work. It most fascinates me after the harvest. The stalks dry up and whistle in the cooling fall breezes. Sometime before the snow, the corn stalks are turned into stumps of their former selves. Last year, it made me so sad. This year, I managed to capture a few images before this took place. |

Morning After AltarSeptember 8, 2005I took this picture at Forestdance MA 2005, a fairly new festival. When I took it on Saturday 8/27/2005, it was in the middle of the day and I did not realize that photographs might disturb the energy there. Next time, I will be more cognizant of this. I do feel that a bit of the energy of the previous night is encapsulated here. So, since I cannot undo the photograph being taken, I do hope the energy can be returned here. |

Heart Feather, for NaoshaAugust 5, 2005When I took this closeup of a peacock feather and noticed the beautiful heart shape, I could not help but think of Naosha. A courageous strong young woman who came through her recent heart surgery with flying colors and is quickly on her way to a full recovery. |

Lavender SunsetJune 27, 2005My best friend from high school, Rell, got married this weekend at a lovely B&B in western Mass. It was called "Garden of Delights" and they certainly were. I snapped this lovely picture of the setting sun illuminating the lavender the night before the wedding. |

Mata Hari TributeJune 20, 2005My lovely friend Samantha (see below - Midnight Misress) and I had an "art date". This week's photo is not so much art itself, but is just my attempt to capture the beautiful wooden plaque I made on our date. Yay art! Yay collage! Yay art buddies! |

King of the RoostJune 3, 2005My usual tulip pictures are so much more feminine, but I was drawn to the cockiness of this tulip's stamen. |

Midnight MistressMay 22, 2005My beautiful friend Samantha allowed me to photograph her in my studio. Here is just 1 of the beautiful results of our efforts. |

ResistMay 15, 2005On October 26, 2002, I marched on Washington, DC with thousands of others to protest the looming Irag War. At one point, I hooked up with the Bread and Puppet crew and took this picture of one of their banners caught in the wind and the sun. |

Balloon WenchMay 7, 2005My friend, Lanna, is a professional balloon twister. She came to my studio to shoot some new pictures for her new website offering up her balloon services. A favorite technique of mine is to selectively color photos and this photo seemed ideally suited to this trick! |

Rush of SpringApril 27, 2005My favorite spot to photograph is right at my home in Barrington, NH. This photo of our rhododendron bush was originally taken in June 2003. |

InvitingApril 16, 2005I have this strange fascination with photographing dried tulip petals. It's weird, but people tell me art is like that and to just go with it, so here goes... |
